| A type of heart failure in which the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) is between 41% and 49%, accompanied by signs and/or symptoms of heart failure, representing a transitional zone between heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Previously known as heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction, this phenotype is now referred to as heart failure with mildly reduced ejection fraction (HFmrEF). |
